FAQ's

What is different about your tour?
The biggest difference is that we pay out cash to our winners. We thought it would be nice to give back some of the money that golfers pay out to play. Second, we want to help our community, so we have a yearly Golf4Kids Charity Tournament, where the proceeds go directly into our Golf4Kids Program. This enables underprivileged kids an opportunity to experience golf and mentoring. This year, this fund will support City Kids. Third, our tournaments are on fewer courses so that you'll get a chance to know the course and play better. Forth, we want to do a good job, so we're open to your input.

If you offer cash to the winners, doesn't that violate one's amateur status?
Good question.  There are approximately 2% of all golfers that need to keep their amateur status.  And for those that do need to keep their status, we offer gift certificates in lieu of cash.  Of course you need to know the rules of amateur status, as offered on our website, but I think most golfers would still rather win money than another golf bag.

I'm afraid that more people will cheat or sandbag when money is on the line.
Golf4Cash Events will do its utmost to ensure that the tour is fair to everyone. Of course, it's much harder to cheat as a member of a tour, playing multiple events. And, it's everyone's responsibility to know the rules… anyone caught cheating will be disqualified. Been there, done that.

How do we know that the handicaps are fair?
All handicaps are verified by our Director of Golf before anyone plays their first event with us. And, we use software which is RCGA approved to keep things as credible as possible. To keep everyone above board, our stats will be open for public viewing.

Why are the prices higher than the normal green fees?
You get a great chance at winning real cash! $25-$35.00 of all entry fees are paid out to the prize pool. And money is also put into the Players Champion Prize Pool for our year end winner, and into our Golf4Kids Program!

Do we have to play in all events?
Anyone can play in any amount of events that they chose, and any member can play in any division they wish, as long as they qualify. In order to become our Players Champion, however, your 10 best events count within A Division. It's important to us to provide good service to our members. For that reason, we invite your feedback, questions or comments.
